The Week of the Snow

Oh man, so I didn't really take this snow business seriously, but buddy was I wrong!!  I mean I figured we would get a little snow, you know, enough to cancel school Monday.  I figured it would definitely be gone by Monday night.  Nope it was still here.  So every day I wake up expecting this snow to disappear magically overnight.  I just can't get over this!!  I mean, I haven't seen snow like this since I was a kid.  I am so happy that it is here though!!

So, the plan was that it would snow last Saturday night.  That way I would get stranded out on the mountain at Aly's house.  I would get to spend more time with Erik, and it would be so much fun to play in the snow with everyone out there.  Well, our plan fell through.  When we woke up Sunday morning, "Surprise..Surprise", no snow.  So I was definitely disappointed, but I still had high hopes that it would snow Sunday while I was out there.  Well, four fast time rolled around and there was no snow.  So, I headed back home to the good ole Riv.  We had cancelled church so me and JK went and got some pizza rolls and movies.  We made hot fudge cake, and than we piled up for a movie night with the fam.  I had kind of given up on the snow by that point.  Well, I guess it was around ten, one of our motion detector lights went off, and sure enough there was at least an inch of snow on the ground.  When we finished our movies, me and JK ran out and played for a little while, than we finally crashed around midnightish. 

Woke up Monday morning with a ton of snow on the ground.  I was so excited, I threw my clothes on, and JK and I ran outside.  We played so much!!  I built an entire snow family.  I made a GIGANTIC snowman, and in the middle of making it JK wanted me to stop and go play with him.  When I got back, someone down the road had tried to make a bigger one.  Well, I couldn't have that, so I decided I was going to make a gigantic snow family.  Well halfway into that, I went inside to warm up.  When I came out my other neighbors had made a snow family.  Ok, by this point  I was NOT going to be out done.  I worked all day long, and I made Daddy, Momma, Me, and Erik.  JK was responsible for making his own, but he didn't finish his.  He got bored and lazy.  So we hooked the sled to the four wheeler and rode that for awhile.  I was afraid the snow would melt so I was the last to come in.  I stayed out until around eight. 

Woke up Tuesday morning, and to my surprise we still had snow!!  Yay!!  So, me and JK grabbed our stuff, loaded up the four wheeler, and we headed to Nannies house.  Two words, FRESH SNOW!!  So we played all day and night over there.  It was a blast.  We even took Nan, Aunt Sis, and Aunt Sue Sue for some sled rides.  Of course I got video of all of them.  My cousin Emma came out and played with us also.  We made plans for all of us to meet back over there Wednesday. 

Wednesday, JK had to go to work.  I was actually bummed that I didn't have my partner in crime.  Ok..so I just got some pretty angry news.  I am not happy, and I don't feel like blogging anymore.  So for now I will end this.  I guess I will be back later.
