Beach

Ok, so who says that a quick weekend trip isn’t worth it.  Definitely not me. It was totally worth it.  We had so much fun.  My family, Ross, his family, Aly, her family, Shelby, and Hilly G loaded up and headed down south.  We had so much fun!!  First things first, on our way down there (while still in Huntsville) we witnessed a horrible wreck.  It was AWFUL, but on the brighter side, I got to call 911 for the first time in my life.  Yea, I was pretty pumped.  I also realized that next time someone needs to call 911, don’t ask me.  I am COMPLETELY directionally challenged, and did I mention we were still in Huntsville.  Sad, I know.  So anyways, we stopped at Cracker Barrel for dinner, and headed back on the road.  Note..NEVER get the Wendy’s Coffee Toffee Frosty.  Blugh, Ugh, Blugh!!  Can we say NASTY!!!!  I don’t know what was floating in that Frosty, but it def. wasn’t toffee.  So, we chunked the dessert, and headed back on the road. 

So, around midnightish, we made it to the Beach!!  We dropped Jk off at the camper, and the girls jetted on down to the beach.  We didn’t stay long, there were definitely some creepers down there.  So, on to the hotel.  That was an experience all in itself.  So, lets just say DON’T STAY at the MICROTELL in Gulf Shores.  3 rooms later, we decided to stay in the second room that we looked at.  It was so nasty, but the other 2 were 10 times worse.  So, we decided that we would head to Wal-Mart at 2:30 in the morning and buy new sheets.  So, we wondered around half out of it, laughing our heads off at things that we knew wouldn’t be funny if we weren’t so tired. 

So, ridiculous, but so much fun!!  An hour or so later, we finally made it back to the hotel.  Where, we put our clean sheets on, and laid in bed laughing until we couldn’t anymore.  I know that our neighbors hated us, but man I definitely needed that laugh.  I don’t remember the last time I laughed that much. 

So, sometime around 10ish, me and Aly roll out of bed.  Hil and Shelby had been up for awhile, and they got us breakfast.  We got ready, and we headed for the beach!!  Woo Whoo!!  So, me being the retard that I am decided, Egh, who needs sunscreen.  Sounded great at the time.  I am defiantly paying the consequences now, anyways.  So, we set up camp, and we head to the ocean.  Oh man, it was kinda cold at first, but once we got wet, it felt so good.  It was the PERFECT day!!  We rode the waves, we laid out, we played football, and Frisbee.  We made AMAZING sand castles, and we played some beach volleyball.  Oh yea, did  I mention, we got majorly BLISTERED!!  We stayed out all day, and headed in around 5ish. 

The boys had brought us Chick Fil A for lunch, man it was so good.  We were starving than, but by dinner time, we were even more hungry!!  We got all fixed up, and we decided to go take pictures, only problem was it had already started getting dark.  We took pics anyways. 

When we finally got done with that we headed to the Oyster House.  It was pretty good if I do say so myself.  We also celebrated Paisley’s b-day with a cookie cake.  So, we headed back to the hotel, me and Aly were MISERABLE.  We got TOTALLY TOASTED!!!!  It was awful, but we collapsed on the bed, and tried as hard as we could to get comfortable.  We decided that we would get up Sun, and go watch the sunrise on the beach.  BEST IDEA EVER *Britney*

Ok, so Sun morning we woke up bright and early, and headed to the beach.  It was beautiful.. the best day EVER!!  I was miserably sore, but it didn’t matter, the sunrise was amazing!!  We took a TON of pics.  I guess I will spare you guys from the 5 million pics.  I just don’t know how I can chose between the fifty million, but I guess I will.

So, after we took some pictures on the beach, we decided to head to FLORIDA.  WE took pictures of us standing in 2 states.  That was fun, I slept on the way there haha. 

Next we went to McDonalds in FL, and can you believe that they DID NOT HAVE BISCUIT AND GRAVY!!  Total bummer!!  I was so sad.  I couldn’t believe it!!  So, I settled for a chicken biscuit and than went and slept in the truck until everyone was ready to go.  I was so STINKING MISERABLE!!  We headed back to the hotel, and stopped at the Happy Shack. 

So, after the Happy Shack, we headed to the hotel, me and Aly got a quick nap, and than we got our stuff together and headed to Lamberts.  Oh man, Lamberts is so so good!!  I love the rolls!!  After Lamberts, we headed home.  It was so sad to leave, but it was the best trip EVER!!!!  I needed this trip, and it was so much fun.  More than I could have ever asked for.  I am glad that I have the friends and family that I have, and I am thankful for them EVERYDAY!!  Well for now I'm all blogged out..talk at you guys later!!!!

Time to Post

So, it is finally time to blog..it has been quite awhile..so..I guess it is time to update.

So, basically I know that you all know this but here I go.  Me and Erik broke up.  I have studied on this for awhile now.  I have been wondering what I would say when I wrote about this.  Everyone CONSTANTLY reminds me that when I click post, this is out there for the whole world to see.  Like I didn’t know that.  I understand, and I am glad that I did wait this long to talk.  My emotions have gone from hurt, to angry, to sad, to angry, to depressed, to angry, and now to thankful.  I am thankful for the friends that I have.  I am thankful for the family I have.  I am thankful for the support I have.  I am thankful for my health.  I could have had numerous spells during this time, but I only had one.  I am VERY thankful for RECIEPTS!!  I am thankful for blessings in disguise.  I am most thankful for the Lord, because without him I would have never made it through this!!

So, I really really want to give a shout out to my friends!!  I mean WOW!!  They have truly been there for me!!  I mean seriously, they are the best!!  My life has been full of froot loops, pineapple, cow poop (thank you shelb), toaster strudels, and laughter.  There has been a cheezeit stuffing contest, a day to the melting pot, a soon to be beach trip. 

So, I guess to catch everyone up, I will start with the weekend that me and Erik broke up.  I got a text early that morning and it all went downhil from there.  Luckily I had stayed the night with Hilly G, so I wasn’t alone when it happened.  She was there to help me, and thanks to Jennifer, they were able to get me a sub!!  BIG THANK YOU on that one!!  So, I finally rolled out of bed, and headed home.  I met up with Hil Simmons, before I got home and we piled up on the bed to chill.  In the next hour Shelby arrived, and about an hour later, Aly arrived.  So, Hil had to go home, and everyone else was determined to get me out of the house.  So, Rossie showed up and we decided to go to Mikatos.  Not the best experience ever, but luckily Shelby got a phone call and Tara needed someone to watch Jasmyn.  So we were entertained by her knowledge of Justin B. songs, and her love of Dora.  Yes, I spent that night watching Dora, I am not ashamed.  I am pretty sure Jas was the only thing that got me through that night.  She was a “blessing in disguise”.  So, Aly and Shelb spent the night, and we headed out there way the next day.  I went to church with them that night, and than everyone came back to Aly’s house and hung out.  The next day we went to church and I headed home. 

The following week was surrounded by my amazing friends.  Monday night, Brett came out and stayed the night with me.  Me, her, JK, and Ross went to frizzles, and than car shopping for me!!  Tuesday, it was our Tuesday night club.  Shelby and Aly came down, and we stayed the night with Hilly G.  We stayed up ALL night playing video games.  Wednesday, it was just me.  Thursday, we went to eat for St. Patty’s day, and than I headed back to the Mt.  I had a big day Friday.  Friday, we went to town, Me, Shelby, Aly, Aunt Linda, Aunt Bev, Momma P, and Hilly G.  We went to Red Lobster, and than it was the big moment.  I had to go try to take Erik’s band back.  Luckily, they took it back.  Thank you Lord.  So, I was relieved, and than we went to the Melting Pot.  That night we stayed at Shelby’s house, and than Sat I came home.  Sadly, I had a spell before we headed home Sat, but Hilly and Shelb took good care of me.  Thank you guys!!  Sat night April and Blake came out to the Riv.  We went to Bailey’s house and hung out after church.  Sunday morning, we all went to the Riv, and than came back to the house to hang out.  I didn’t feel good, so I just slept on the couch.  After church we went to Applebee’s and had a really good time. 

This week I haven’t really felt up to doing ANYTHING….but, TODAY WE ARE HEADED TO THE BEACH!!!!  WOO WHOO!!  So, keep a look out for another update.  Until than……….

Wow..I Guess That I Am A Little Behind….

Ok..so yea..I pretty much knew that I would do this.. I knew that I would get busy and NEVER post anything!!  I decided that I would post every Monday.  Nothing really important happens to me during the week, my weekends are what I live for.  Well, I didn’t even do that.  I really must have commitment issues.  I do this with everything.  I remember the days of MySpace..I still have one floating around out there.  I don’t know the password or screen name or I would delete it.  I never stuck with that.  I never got on.  So than everyone went to Bebo..well I never caught that train..I didn’t even try a Bebo.  I knew I wouldn’t keep up with it.  So than someone convinced me to make a Facebook.  Well I stuck with that for awhile.  I never posted any pictures tho.  I basically was tagged in every picture that was on my account because yet again..I didn’t stick with it.  Now I decide that I am going to start a blog.  Well I guess we all see how that went.  HAHA..I knew that would be an epic fail!!  I have an MSN account now also.  But the only reason I even get on that is because it automatically signs in when I turn my computer.  So I am going to try and stick with this blog thing.  (Slight interruption..I feel like everyone should know that I am currently laying on the couch typing this..daddy is sitting in a chair making retarted rhymes..and is talking nonstop..I don’t think he even cares that I am not responding)

Ok..so it is definitely catch up time….

Lets start off with..drum roll please..I am FINALLY ENGAGED!! Woo Whoo!!  I can’t believe that he finally did it.  Erik Alan Rowan finally manned up and asked me to marry him.  Of course my response was..YES AGGHH!!  So we went out to eat.  We decided to dress nice and go out on an actual date.  We never get to do that!!  So we went to Bridge Street.  Our dinner was really good, but we got two desserts.  One was good, and the other looked like poop, and tasted pretty close to it.  Anyways, we decided to walk around in the FREEZING COLD.  We decided that we both had to go to the bathroom.  So when I came out, Erik wasn’t there.  He ALWAYS beats me out of the bathroom, so I wasn’t to worried.  I just waited for him.  Well, 15 minutes later, he still wasn’t out.  So I was worried.  Than this crew of weird guys came walking through, and they went into the bathroom.  When they came out they were laughing.  I really thought that those guys beat Erik up, so I headed for the bathroom to check on him.  Right before I got to the bathroom, I got a text from Erik saying, “Where are you?”.  Well, I flipped out, I was like how in the world did I lose Erik!!  So eventually I get a text saying..If you can find me you will be so happy..”I love you always and forever. Come find me, think about where all we have been tonight.” I was like ok, you got to give me a clue, we had been everywhere.  So he text me and said I am at “Bridge” Street, hurry up, I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life without you.  So I figured out that he was at a bridge.  I came to the first bridge, no Erik.  So I finally turned the corner, and there he was standing on the wooden bridge.  He instantly dropped to one knee until I got there.  When I reached him, he took my hand, and he asked me to marry him.  Of course I went INSANE, ok no we BOTH went INSANE..We were finally engaged.  So yea, that was that weekend. 

On to the next weekend..

The next weekend we had a hang out night at Hil Gambles house.  It was a lot of fun!!  The only prob was that I ended up having a spell..yea..bummer..the first one I have had in over 2 months.  So, Aly, Shelby, and Hannah stayed the night with me and the next day we all loaded up and went to NASHVILLE, to the CHEESECAKE FACTORY!!  That was an experience..Shelby found a hair in her food.  Mine was good tho.  Than when we left we realized that I had lost my Flip Camera.  Well, we called and we found out that it was at the CCF.  So we were halfway home and had to turn around and go all the way back to get it.  **Sorry Little Brother**  Well, needless to say we didn’t make it back in time for church, but everyone chilled at the house, Ben and Ross came over and we had a good time.  Than we got up and all went to the Riv the next morning. That night some of us went to Olive Garden to celebrate my Aunt Tina’s b-day.  When I got home, I got really sick, and started throwing up.  Yea, won’t be eating there again for awhile. 

Ok, so moving on……

Alright so the following weekend we went to THE SMOKIES to celebrate Shelby’s b-day!!!!  Woo-whoo!!  Yea, it was a total blast!!  We played this new game that I learned called, WATER FOUNTAIN.  What you do is fill your mouth as full as you can with water, and you have to be the last person to spit your water out.  It was down to me and Alexis….the battle was on….sadly, I lost.  The next match, again, it was down to me and Alexis….this time I was DETERMINED to win..and of course being the competitive person I am, I did!!  Next up was..drum roll please..MATRESS SURFING!!!!  Ok, that was a blast..we def need steeper stairs next time!!  Overall we had an awesome time, me and Shelby showed of our square dancing skills, and we walked around Gatlinburg.  We also went shopping.  Overall it was an awesome trip.  Best part was just chilling with my friends!!  I love them so much, and I don’t know where I would be with out them!!  **special shout out to Alyshia, Hannah, and Shelby**  This is because every time I have a spell, Aly springs into action, and knows what to do.  She is by my side and takes care of me no matter what.  Hannah, has stepped up and started taking care of me as well!!  She is good to hold me, let me lay my head in her lap, and get a cold rag for me.  Shelby is also a trooper when it comes to my spells, for example a couple Sat nights ago, apparently I got sick and she asked me if I wanted her to rub my back, and I said yes.  I don’t have any remembrance of this, but she rubbed my back for like 30 minutes until her arm went to sleep.  That’s a TRUE friend right there!!  All of my friends lend a hand when I need one, but these three have really stepped it up and taken care of me.  THANKS GUYS!! 

Ok, so we are finally caught up to this week…..

So Tuesday night we have a Tuesday night club!!  Me, Ross, Hil Gamble, and JK all get together on Tuesdays and hang out.  This Tuesday, Aly and Shelby came down and we all went to the melting pot!!  AMAZING!!  We just go the dessert, but that was all I wanted..I HATE cheese.  So we got the most delicious dessert ever!!  It was so awesome..we are def going back..ASAP!!  Than we split off and me, Shelb, and Aly went wedding shopping.  I got the stuff to do my sand ceremony.  They spent the night with me that night.  Than Thursday night I had my drama club production.  My kids performed the play, “Giggle Giggle Quack”  They did really good!!  I was proud of them.  Hil, Ben, Ross, Jk, and Momma all came to it.  It was my last play of the year.  Than we went to eat.  Friday, me and Erik went to Josh’s house for a game night.  That was a lot of fun!!  Than I stayed the night with Brett.  Me Aly and Shelb got no sleep..so we left early and went back to Alyshia’s house to sleep!!  We got up and Momma P made us some pancakes..yum..than I left and met up with Erik.  We came back to my house and talked WEDDING stuff.  Basically this weekend we hung with the rents, and talked wedding stuff.  So now that I wrote a novel, and I am completely caught up, I am going to post this and relax..so I guess that is that.  I will hopefully stay on top of this and post next Monday.
